This short qualification course is suitable for those who already have secretarial experience. Typing and word processing experience are essential. When attending KeyNet the duration for this Legal Secretary training course is 30 hours. As a distance learning / home study course the suggested amount of study time is 30 to 40 hours which may be spread over a few weeks or months. Receive comprehensive training materials for future reference; the opportunity to gain the Legal Secretarial Diploma and the opportunity to gain up to 3 qualifications through the Royal Society of Arts. The course includes legal terminology and legal documents such as those used in legal offices. Legal documentation to include Conveyance, Civil and Criminal Litigation, Matrimonial and Family, Probate and Corporate Services. Entry is available if required for up to 3 OCR (RSA) qualifications including Text Processing Stage II, Legal Text Processing Stage II and Audio Transcription Stage II. The course follows the syllabus for all of those qualifications and this is detailed on the diploma issued. You can choose to attend KeyNet for this 30 hours Diploma course at times to suit you, possibly for 6 hours a week for 5 weeks or other arrangement suitable for yourself. | LC10 - Legal Secretary Advanced Diploma Course | ||
Receive comprehensive training materials for future reference; the opportunity to gain the Legal Secretarial Diploma and the opportunity to gain up to 5 Certificates through the Royal Society of Arts. This course is suitable for beginners or graduates requiring skills for the modern business environment, or those with some previous experience. Beginners learn touch typing, audio typing and word processing. The course includes legal terminology and legal documents such as those used in legal offices. Legal documentation to include Conveyance, Civil and Criminal Litigation, Matrimonial and Family, Probate and Corporate Services. Entry is available if required for up to 5 (OCR) RSA qualifications including Copy Typing Speed Test, Text Production Stages 1 and II, Legal Text Processing Stage II and Audio Transcription Stage II. The course follows the syllabus for all of those qualifications and this is detailed on the diploma issued. You can choose to attend KeyNet for this Diploma course at times to suit you, possibly daily for 3 to 5 weeks or other arrangement suitable for yourself. | LT3 - OCR / RSA Legal Text Processing and Legal Word Processing Course | ||

This course is suitable for
those who wish to pass the OCR / RSA examinations in Legal Text
Processing and Legal Word Processing to an advanced level. You
should be a proficient user of Microsoft Word version 2000 (or
similar), with knowledge of paragraph formatting, page setup and
tables. Once enrolled
on the course we will supply you with comprehensive training materials
and instructions as to how to proceed. Upon
successful completion of your final assessment papers a certificate is
supplied for the coursework and you may then book your OCR / RSA
examinations. The aim of the course is to
assess your ability to produce a variety of complex
legal documents to a standard that meets the business document
production requirements of employment at senior level. Documents
are produced from handwritten and typewritten drafts, and recalled
text. The qualifications achieved are vocationally related

Legal Executive Secretary / PA Diploma Course - Level 3 |

Receive comprehensive training materials for future reference; the opportunity to gain the Legal Executive Secretary / PA Diploma at Level 3 and the opportunity to gain up to 10 certificated qualifications including the Royal Society of Arts. This course is suitable for beginners or graduates requiring skills for the modern business environment, or those with some previous experience. The choices available include comprehensive training to ADVANCED levels in touch typing, word processing, audio or shorthand, spreadsheets, graphs, tables, mailmerge, minute taking and reports. The course follows the syllabus for OCR to Stage II and/or III and the OCR Diploma. Examination entry is available as required. Other qualifications may also be included such as Microsoft Office Specialist. You can choose to learn at home as a distance learning / correspondence course or attend KeyNet's Training Centre at times to suit you, possibly daily for 6 weeks or other arrangement suitable for yourself. When attending KeyNet the duration for this course is 120 hours + exam times.
