This short qualification course is suitable for those who already have word processing experience. When attending KeyNet the duration for this Medical Secretary training course is 30 hours. As a distance learning / home study course the suggested amount of study time is 30 hours which may be spread over a few weeks or months. Receive comprehensive training materials for future reference; the opportunity to gain the Medical Secretarial Diploma and the opportunity to gain up to 3 qualifications through the Royal Society of Arts. The course includes medical terminology and medical documents such as those used in hospitals and by GPs. Entry is available if required for up to 3 OCR (RSA) qualifications including Text Production Stage II, Medical Word Processing Stage II and Medical Audio Transcription Stage II. The course follows the syllabus for all of those qualifications and this is detailed on the diploma issued. You can choose to attend KeyNet for this 30 hours Diploma course at times to suit you, possibly for 6 hours a week for 5 weeks or other arrangement suitable for yourself.
